Martin N. Smith is SymphonyAI's Asia Compliance and Financial Crime Industry Advisor. He previously led EY's initiative to build a future-of-compliance risk management offering for financial services clients across ASEAN.
Before EY, Martin spent nearly two decades at Credit Suisse, where he served for more than 14 years as COO and Chief of Staff for Compliance in APAC. Earlier in his career he worked at Morgan Stanley, HBOS and the National Bank of Greece.
Martin has trained senior naval officers for NATO and worked as a reporter and producer for CBS News in Los Angeles. He holds a BSc in Psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism, and is a published novelist.
