SPAR Saudi Arabia chooses SymphonyAI to improve supply chain efficiency

04.28.2020 | By Mark Speyers

DALLAS – April 28, 2020 – Symphony RetailAI, the leading global provider of AI-enabled retail solutions and customer-centric insights for retailers and CPG manufacturers across the entire value chain, announced that it has signed a contract with the AlSadhan group, which operates the SPAR brand under an exclusive license in Saudi Arabia.

Performance and productivity in the supply chain

SymphonyAI’s Warehouse Management, combined with its mobile solution deployed on Android devices, will allow SPAR to optimize the management of its stock and non-stock flows across all of its distributed products (food and non-food) in its stores in Saudi Arabia. SymphonyAI’s technology will help the brand to reach its performance targets, in particular:

  • Improve order accuracy and service levels
  • Reduce error rate
  • Improve order management and execution
  • Improve productivity
  • Reduce inventory and its associated costs

SPAR Saudi Arabia chose SymphonyAI because of the proven quality of its supply chain solutions, and for its ability to help the company achieve current and future objectives. SymphonyAI’s expertise in the retail sector and its numerous customer references – including existing deployments in other regions in which SPAR is present – also contributed to the decision.

“We are looking forward to deploying and using SymphonyAI’s solutions, which will allow us to rapidly improve our performance and competitiveness in a particularly dynamic retail market in Saudi Arabia,” commented Mr. Turki, CEO, SPAR Saudi Arabia.

“Beyond supporting our growth in Saudi Arabia, this extension of our partnership will allow us to further improve the best practices that SPAR International and SymphonyAI have been developing together,” said Tom Rose, head of international operations at SPAR International.

“We are delighted with this agreement and with the growth of our collaboration with SPAR International,” said Arnaud Gauthier, President and Chief Customer Officer for EMEA, SymphonyAI. “This new success shows that our expertise and our solutions allow a leading brand like SPAR to optimize its performance at an international level while taking into account the specific needs of each region and local organization.”
