ATLANTA – January 18, 2017 – Symphony GOLD, provider of the GOLD unified software platform for omni-channel retail, today announced that Ram Marupudi, solutions architect at Southeastern Grocers, has been elected Chairperson for the Symphony GOLD Customer Advisory Board (CAB). In this new position, Marupudi will be responsible for bilateral communications between the CAB members and the Symphony GOLD product management teams.
The Symphony GOLD CAB is composed of merchandising and category management, supply chain and retail operations leaders, including C-level executives from retailers and manufacturers around the globe. Its primary mission is joint collaboration on long term strategic planning and growth to ensure that development of Symphony GOLD solutions continue to be aligned with customer strategies.
Marupudi has more than 18 years of extensive experience in retail architecture, design and implementation of technology solutions in support of business strategies. With strong leadership, functional and technical skills across a variety of business and technology areas, combined with proficiency in retail ERP application architecture and strategic roadmap development, Marupudi will bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the role of CAB Chairperson.
